A little bit about myself:
I am passionate about photography, writing, dancing, and animals. I currently work from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, and I absolutely adore where I live. I spend most of my time shooting pictures, as well as working with a local non-profit community theatre whose mission is to build bridges in the community through the power of performance and education. I teach in their education program, as well as choreograph a number of their productions. I am incredibly blessed to be able to do what I love!
I am currently planning my wedding to the man of my dreams and my best friend. It's a lot of work (like having another job!) but I'm so excited to start that chapter of my life.
A little bit about my photography:
Ever since I can remember, I have always felt a calling to document. That calling has taken many forms over the years. I have studied creative writing, film theory, film making, photography, and theatre. I've always been torn by the desire to live in the moment, but still honor the past. For me, photography fulfills that desire. I can experience those moments and capture them in a way that will last forever.
In photography, I love natural lighting, interesting textures, and clean, classic pictures. But I also love the creative freedom of post-processing that graphic design allows. As a result, my style is a fusion of traditional and modern, elegant with a dash of quirky.
